Terms
Welcome to Zhiyue (the “platform”). Please read these terms before use; by registering, signing in or using the service you accept all of them.
1. The service
The platform is a research tool offering medical literature search, journal tiering, methodological appraisal, review drafting, text conversion and export. Its output isassistive material, not a substitute for your professional judgement.
2. Accounts and credits
- Register truthfully and remain responsible for all activity under your account;
- New accounts receive trial credits; continued use is licensed by activation code, credits are metered per task type, and details are visible under Account & Credits;
- Keep your credentials safe, and contact us immediately if you believe your account has been used by someone else.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not use the platform to create, upload or distribute unlawful content or content that infringes the rights of others;
- Do not use the platform for academic misconduct, including but not limited to ghostwriting, buying or selling papers, fabricating data or submitting on someone's behalf. The platform assists with literature work and writing; the final scholarly judgement, authorship and responsibility remain with you;
- When writing with AI assistance, follow your target journal's and institution's AI-use and disclosure rules, and disclose that assistance truthfully;
- Do not upload material containing patient personal information, or full-text files you have no right to handle;
- Do not attack, scrape, reverse engineer or otherwise disrupt the platform;
- AI content labelling: everything generated or exported carries an AI-generated content label — an explicit text label in the page and in exported files, plus an implicit label in file metadata. Youmust not remove, alter or obscurethat label before sharing the content;
- When submitting a paper, report or application externally, describe your AI assistance as required by the target journal, your institution and applicable regulation.
- Content generated by the platformis produced with AI assistance, and may contain errors or omissions; although citations are checked against PMID/DOI,all content must still be verified by you before use；
- Style features such as “natural academic tone”exist only to improve how natural the prose reads, and must not be used to evade the AI-disclosure requirements of your target journal or institution；
- The platform is for literature reference only:it does not constitute medical advice, does not provide diagnostic or treatment recommendations, and does not replace physicians' judgement。
4. Intellectual property
- The platform and its technology, interface and documentation belong to the operator;
- You are responsible for the content you submit and must hold the necessary rights to it;
- Generated results are provided for reference in your research; verify their accuracy and the authenticity of citations yourself.
5. Disclaimer
- Because of how large language models work, output may contain errors or omissions andmust be verified by the user；
- The platform provides no medical advice and must not be used for clinical diagnosis or treatment decisions;
- No guarantee is given that generated content meets a particular journal's requirements or will be accepted or pass review;
- We are not liable for effects caused by force majeure or outages of third-party services such as model APIs or literature databases, but will make reasonable efforts to restore service.
6. Changes and termination
We may adjust, suspend or discontinue features as operational needs require, and will announce this in-app. If you breach these terms we may restrict or stop providing the service to you.
7. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes should first be resolved through negotiation; failing that, either party may bring proceedings before a competent court where the operator is located.
